As an ML/AI engineer on the founding engineering team, you would architect the machine learning and retrieval systems behind the core product: data pipelines that ingest, classify, enrich and summarize, plus real-time and batch inference at scale. The work spans model selection, fine-tuning, embeddings, RAG and evaluation, with an emphasis on building custom models rather than assembling prompt wrappers. The role is in-office five days a week in San Francisco, with New York also possible.
