In this role you would own the AI systems layer: retrieval, context construction, model and provider selection, structured extraction, evaluation, orchestration, quality loops and monitoring. The emphasis is on production systems built on hosted frontier models, which means caring about latency, cost, observability, retries and failure modes as much as about model output. Designing evaluation datasets, regression tests and quality gates is a core part of the job, not an afterthought.
